COUGAR...Shy sweetheart wants to be loved!! Cougar is part of the Limestone County Rescue effort we started in February/March xxxx. The condensed version of his story is this... A few weeks ago we received an email from a fellow Forgotten Felines Volunteer who had heard about an emergency situation in the County. "Basically there's a rental property where some animals had been abandoned. The owners of the property had known that the renters had some animals but had no idea of the real story...or the condition the house was left in. Fast forward a couple of weeks (I believe) and through a series of events, it was discovered there were somewhere around 20 cats left to fend for themselves when folks were evicted. When owners discovered it, they started feeding in hopes to get some help. The cats are generally people-oriented but of course, some are very scared and reluctant to approach. Some try...
