BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Lead financial performance of a program from approval to ongoing production costs, including tool cost, R and D and tangible asset investment, and product contribution margin.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead cost planning activity for completion and control of project quotes and initiatives (TCTPs):
: and shy; BOM complete and correct valuation (in coordination with EAP, PUR, MFE).
: and shy; Cycle times
(Headcount/Machine).
: and shy; Control of tangible and intangible Capex.
: and shy; Purchasing prices.
Challenge cost models for improved efficiency in material, labor, capital investment.
Review project files for initiative approval for veracity and congruence with plant indicators.
Review set up of cost structure in SAP to verify system is in line with TCTP and post SOP verify that cost structure is in line with actual costs:

: and shy; BOM structures

: and shy; Cycle times
: and shy; WBS budget elements (Tooling, Capex).
Follow up budget and release of requisitions for program specific tools and assets to meet or exceed TCTP and annual budget expectations.
Monthly reporting/follow up of TCTP after initiative approval to track CM impacts as well as tool and assets investment.
Define completion of asset and tools costs to close WBS elements.
Work in conjunction with Reporting Control in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts:

Work in conjunction with Industrial Control to validate VAVE, CT and WCM savings.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
:Finance or Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
: 2 : 5 years in cost estimation or cost engineering. Automotive industry preferred.
Skills:
:Basic knowledge of SAP.
:Proficient in Microsoft Office Systems.
:Negotiation and problem solving techniques.
:Detail oriented with ability to communicate effectively.
:Ability to travel both domestic and international (10 : 20).
