In trying to help my son's band w/ promotion, I have had good success in driving internet traffic for the band such as feedback, gigs, interest in recording/mastering, offers to be part of music festivals, requests for purchase of their CD, requests for Mp3's and CDs for airplay on independent and non-commercial radio, college radio, music blogs, etc. I recently had a response for them to play on a TV morning show in the Huntsville market and interest for interviews in print publications and on radio/music websites.
I do this by targeted marketing techniques. NOT by buying hits or FB likes. Each video play or song play is an actual "unique" person who is taking the time to watch or listen. This has not been achieved by a bot creating the illusion of social media traffic.
When I started in late March of this year, his band had 256 video hits on Reverbnation. Today, (7-13-15) as I post this they have xxxx and are averaging well over 200 video hits per day. Their song plays have increased from 756 in March to over xxxx as of today. We saw moderate increases the first month or so. By early June, we were really gaining a lot of ground and in the last 3 weeks, traffic has really snowballed! They have had increases in total fans, RVBnation fans, twitter followers, FB likes and widget impressions. The latter few have not increased as much, but that is due to the fact that I began this project by focusing solely on one video and a few live performance videos.

This process takes constant updating and it helps if you have provide new material and/or video from recent performances, from time to time. You will be forwarded all responses, feedback, offers, opportunities, criticism, etc. It will be advantageous to you/your band to do constant updates to FB, twitter, your website or RVBnation page, respond to those emails.
My fee will vary, depending on exactly what aspect you want me to focus on. Starting price is $25 month with a one time set up fee of $25, (non-refundable). It will take a few months to see the kind of response I described w/ my son's band. You can cancel at any time. No contracts. Other promo services will be offered in the near future.

PLEASE keep in mind that, again, these are actual people clicking and listening from all over the country and the world, although our main focus is the Southeastern U.S. I must emphasize that these are not 'bought' hits to simply jack up their stats to look good. A lot of time and effort went into this. These are targeted efforts to reach as many as possible, but specific to their genre and their needs. I didn't target a hip hop, country blog, radio station or site just to say I did promotion. It was done in a manner to reach a certain audience.
The venue promotion has been solely within an approx. 250-300 mile radius from the Shoals area. I only concentrated my venue/clubs in cities close enough for the band to travel/play and have minimal interference w/ their day jobs, for now. I certainly could get them gigs in Dallas, Chicago or L.A. or Boston, but at this time it isn't feasible for them to travel that far for a single gig. Eventually, we may set up a tour that concentrates on cities farther away than the 300 mile radius.
